Point Cloud Intergration
Above is a CG Point Cloud integration that I created. I did a camera track in nuke and created a point cloud from that track. After the point cloud was created I used that to create a 3D mesh that I could import into Maya. Once the mesh was imported into Maya I then placed my CG objects based off of the Mesh. I then lit and rendered a diffuse and shadow pass. Then I composited in the diffuse and shadow pass on top of the original footage. Finally, I color corrected the footage and added lens distortion for the final movie. Below is a breakdown of my process.
