Above is an integration that I composited of footage of inside a garage. I tracked the footage in nuke and placed simple geometry to mark where I would put the CG element. Then I exported the camera and simple geometry, brought that into Maya, placed my CG objects, rendered out a diffuse and shadow pass. Then once my two passes where rendered I read them into Nuke and composited them on top of the original footage. Finally, I colored corrected my CG elements and added lens distortion to create the final movie.
