The above video is a rendered composite of Green Screen footage of a Lion and a background image that I did in Nuke. I used several different primattes to pull an efficient key that maintained all the Lion's stray fur. I also used several different nodes to get a clean pull for the Lions shadow so he would look believably placed in the image. I then also color corrected the Lion and the background image for a cohesive look. Below is a breakdown of how I achieved this composite.
